Can't out drag a WRX? Just go around him...

Post by Timmo » Sun Jan 11, 2015 10:53 pm

a bit of a video from Hampton downs on Saturday- Was tussling with a WRX who was clearly fast on the straights but pretty woeful around the corners and under brakes...So I did what any self respecting MX5 driver would do and out cornered him lol

Nice work passing James in the WRX
That thing is pretty quick - Kinugawa TD05-20G turbo running 17psi
Dunno about his braking points though - Ugggh

Yeah his lines left a bit to be desired but could have been running shoddy tyres too?
I saw you there a couple of times and was going to come for a chat but didn't end up finding you!

Yeah - half the cars I had to tune didn't book and the playday was fill up, but then in the afternoon there were plenty of spaces available so was bouncing around between 4 cars getting them sorted
Plenty more trackdays coming up though :D
