Fitting of Spoiler in Auckland
Morning all, I've just brought a spoiler for my 1997 MX5 and am wanting to have it fitted, anyone know any good panel beaters? I live in Browns Bay on the North Shore in Auckland. Cheers Ken

does it need painting/paint matching?
If not, you could possibly consider DIYing it as its not an overly complex task. This is an image from when I did mine, I used some sikaflex adhesive as a bonding agent and used 3 pieces of thick nylon string to hold it in place for a few days... you will note that I tied loops at the end of each string and used cable ties to tie the loops together as that way I could incrementally increase tension on each rope to get it to sit straight and flush at an angle I was happy with....
just something to consider as sadly I don't know any auckland panel beaters.

Furai had the Momo seat he is selling on Trademe done a while back & the job was pretty good as I recall, you may which to drop him a line.
As for the spoiler, if you are VERY fortunate you might persuade 2low2c to do that job for you, that is is you want it done properly that is.
Lastly, it'd be nice for the MX5 NZ Community if you introduced yourself in one of the many threads suitable for intro's... you can also tell us about your car, by adding it to the garage.
