Help! need advise quickly please.

Post by fooesboy » Wed Mar 26, 2014 6:44 pm

Hi all,

I have a problem that is outside my knowledge base.

I currently have 1 calliper off my 5 and in bits due to the piston being corroded. I have ordered a rebuild kit but it has not arrived yet and I am being sent away for 10 days for work.

Now when I removed the calliper most (read pretty much all) fluid drained onto my floor....

Now I am really not very keen on going away and leaving the brake system open for this length of time... What should I be doing?

As always your comments are greatly appreciated!

Chris

If you dont have tape try cling wrap. That will stop moisture ingress while pipes are open to atmosphere.
