Had another drift day, was good fun and nice and quiet. Lots of guys to drift with and tandem. I had a bit of a tap while tandeming my mate so I have started fixing her up.

We had a few antics while there, had a bit of a drag race and let a friend drive my car. He showed just how easy it is to drive and how good he is!

I also did a wall scrape with the front end which was rather entertaining but left her a bit banged up. You can see the dent and marks in the door from the wheel of my mates car and the front end damage.

Heres the video I got with some good tandems and both hits at the start for you impatient people :P

Also got this video a friend made from the day before this one!

Started pulling her apart to do some fixing up, be more on this later once I get the parts Ive ordered(Rear Garnish, front indicator, rear tail light, new metal bumper support)

So another drift day this weekend and then we will hopefully have her looking quite nice all painted up.

On another note the primer I got is flat green. Hmmmmm Yuuutaaaa

awesome thread idea!

Not trying to derail or anything, but considering the reputation MX5's have with some people, I find it funny to have this happening right behind your mx5.

just sayin'

Posted on Bwarp but I figure you read here more.

Have you thought of getting a steel bar welded on to support the rear bumper with quick releases? Would make it far easier for you.

I'll be doing it for sure

The bumper takes a right smashing, this hit only did damage to the skin not the support.

First drift day of the new Year!

I was struggling to link the main 2 coners of the track, speed couldnt be held to hold the drift.
I did try hard though with good speed.
Image

Entry speed increased but drift still couldnt be held.
Image

Roadsters friend rain then arrived to help!
Image

I then chased hard like my hero Yuuta Onodera! (^ 0 ^ )/
Image

Battles with many D1 cars!
Image

Here is a video, the quality is poor because of the rain.

Danny George knuckles? How much clearance you got between wheels and lower arms?

Might as well post some stuff in this thread, here's some media from the last event i took my car to.

Who runs all the skid pan events these days? Got a couple mates who want to learn to slide their cars without worrying about walls etc. Plus I wouldn't mind doing one cos I can't afford a full track day.

I suspect that Hampton Downs is pretty booked out though; week days are cheaper and available but peoples work schedules would probably make that unfeasible.
