Megasquirt guru wanted

Post by lancec » Mon Nov 25, 2013 10:08 pm

Hey guys I am looking for a Megasquirt guru ideally located in wellington or palmerston north or anywhere in between.

I have a megasquirt that has been used in an mx5 in the past and I want to get it ready to use in my car and get some help understanding what it can and cant do for me.
Then I can start getting parts for my turbo build
It will be used in my 98 NA8

Does anyone know of such a guru?

Thanks!
:D

what sort of megasquirt is it? MS1/2/3/PNP???
the wiring is different from 1600 to 1800 cars. and youll need to check the ignition drivers and the idle valve circuit. youll also need a variable tps from either an auto car, or an E30 BMW

He shouldn't need a vtps if its NA8 it should have one already, my 93 NA8 had one any way.
but yeah what MS you have changes things a bit, I did a DIYPNP, wasn't to hard, good luck to you :D
