Tauranga Garage/Mechanic

Post by amaurosisbrown » Sun Apr 21, 2013 3:19 pm

A query for Bay of Plenty MX-5 owners. I've just moved to Papamoa Beach and would like to know if anyone has a recommendation for an MX-5 friendly garage or mechanic in the Bay of Plenty area.

I've owned my MX-5 for two months and I'd like the brakes and thermostat looked at. Cheers in advance. :D

We use Vehicle Service Centre on Aerodrome road at the Mount.
Richard is also an MX5 owner and member of the MX5 Club.
They charge about the same as anyone else in town ($75/hr) but are very honest. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Vehicle-S ... 8537983557
Hope this helps
Cheers Stevo :D

Thanks, Stevo. That sounds perfect. Nice to know he's an MX5 owner too

I generally go to Chapel Automotive who have done previous work on my MR2, NA MX5 and my current NB. I've had good results and they are close to where I work.

I need to get my cambelt changed soon (now) so might check out Vehicle Service center for a quote and see how they compare.
