I plan on going for a THICK disc if possible maybe 30mm, the catch can is just a homemade job (i have a mate with superb tig skills) made out of some 2mm which I cut / folded.

have since done the coolant explansion tank which also came out pretty well..

Plans is for some low key track day work and possibly hillclimb stuff (depnding on how the thing performs)

Hey if you are looking for a bigger master cylinder (i am a fan of big master cylinders) to drive those brakes, the unit from an evo 5 onwards (same as the mid 90's mitsi GTO) is 17/16th and will bolt up.

Imperial units at their best... One day they'll appreciate how simple life is when you run with mm.

The larger master fitting is an interesting fact to discover

Unfortunately in this job I've had to learn how to interpret inches, feet, yards and tons (not the good solid metric tonne) and how they are not easy to transfer between units...

Ah well, next job is funded by Australia so it'll be back to the good old metric units that make sense

The RNZAF is pretty good for that. American aeroplanes and European helicopters...

If you want to know about larger BMC see the following link

http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=363284

I use a 2004 NB Sport BMC and booster running my 6 pots, and it made a huge improvement.

Awesome thanks Mjrstr,

Rebuilt the pedal box to its former glory and improved the pedals for added grip.

Time for a Quarterly update...

Been a pretty Busy couple of months but we are getting closer to completion at the end of this year.

Thanks to help of Jared at Team Jelly we now have a Bare 99 BP cylinder head which later this year will receive a full CNC port job and a Supertech valve train update including +1mm Oversize valves. This is possible with the Help of Barry at Manon Racing products.

We have had the Cusco 2way Differential stripped inspected and rebuilt by Kayne Barry Motorsport which is now in perfect condition for hardwork a head. To add to Drive line updates we are also sporting a new NB 6 Speed gearbox opposed to the NA6 one. To help get the power down I chose a Tilton twinplate clutch and custom flywheel setup from MRP at the same time I ordered the new BHJ Dynamics Crank Harmonic Damper. We are hoping to build the block over Queens Birthday weekend and have the car rolling by September.

Also Began running all the braided fuel lines and updated the Fuel pump to a TRE lift pump which inturn will supply the surge tank located in the boot.

Pictures to come...

Ben, when you started this project you were going to use the ATI damper. However I see you have gone for the BHJ. Any reason for this other than the BHJ is cheaper?

Apparently the BHJ Dynamics damper is more specifically designed for the BP Series engine I did have price in mind as well. In the end a NZ supplier got this one in for me so I just figured it was easier.
