"heat" light

Post by Stuart Viner » Sun Dec 21, 2003 11:15 am

Please help. I recently bought a Eunos Roadster 1992. Eversince I've had it
the "HEAT" warning light on the dash remains on. I think this means the
catalytic converter is overheating? How can I repair/reset it? Thank you.

"heat" light

Howdy!

We had this a year ago after taking a pothole on a gravel road a little too
fast! It turned out that there was a loose wire to/from the temperature
sensor in the catalytic converter which, when reconnected, fixed the problem.
So check the wiring "down below" before getting stressed - to see if yours is
the same.

There have been previous discussions on this subject, so search the archives
on the website to see what's there.

Good luck

Remove the Cat Converter.
