I was thinking a slimmer plate for the front of my car would be great, but these euro plates are only about 12mm slimmer than my current plates. I could easily achieve that by cutting off the border. Hmm, now where did I leave that power nibbler...

They need to be encouraged now to seek approval for a smaller style to suit
cars such as ours, and some of the exotica that need them...

Yup thats right.
when i lived in Sydney they had small front plates for
sportscars and euro's as an option. They were about
half the height and about 80% the length. If its good
enough for the NSW RTA then it has to be good enough
for the LTSA. Motorbike plates are small so whats the
difference when it comes to reading them when fitted
to cars? I heard that the NZ plates were made in Aus anyway. Is that true??

When I got my caption plates about 4-5 years ago thay had to have something
done to them in Australia. It was something to do with the capton lettering
and the border.
