Mags

Post by Mathew » Mon Aug 04, 2003 3:51 pm

I just had a wee scan through some websites of NZ distributors and I have to say that the pickings certainly are slim if you want to stick to 15". I had a look through the Good-win racing site Chic, and the "maglite" and "Helium" rims are also in the Lenso range, but the very small selection of Lenso rims available in this country doesn't include them. The "sub-zero" is a cheaper copy of the Racing Hart CPO35 wheel that Jeff mentioned, which is actually available in 15"x6.5 in NZ http://www.yhi.co.nz. I once inquired locally about the price of a 17" set of CP035's and all salesman said was "You don't wanna know, too much", so I'm guessing they are in the same league as BBS, Simmons and Volk Racing.

whoops i forgot. HONDA have a very cool new mag for
thier CIVIC which looks alot like the racing hart mag.
Its 15x6.5" and is only $250 each which is really
cheap for an factory wheel.(be careful there is
another which has much fatter spokes but isnt the
one). our local tauranga dealer has them on a red
civic and they are very agreesive looking!! The mazda
15" were really expensive from the mazda dealer.
wouldnt even think about buying them from a mazda
dealer.
