I have just arrived back from the Motorsport NZ conference in Auckland.

One of the subjects that came up was the new runbelieveable exhaust rules that
will and in fact have already caused major problems with road registered
(certified) competition cars.

Our techinical department has been on the case already and we have been
assured by an MP (who's name eludes me at the moment) who attended our
conference that this new rule will be revisited.

We all need to be positive and talk or write to our MP's pointing out the
stupidity of this new law.

As I see it at the moment that any mx5 with the spare wheel modification to
get it out of the boot is quite likely to fail a wof.
