Hey Ken, you have exactly the same style bars as I do. Very nice. I can't lie about the padding though - not exactly a thing of great beauty is it. If I ever got to the stage of padding my bars I'd probably get a leather (maybe vinyl) cover to go over the padding (like the ones you see on some Racing Beat bars).

no - pretty it isn't.
but does kind de-nansy-fy it a little.
it's just an experiment to see if i like it really.
i actually don't like the bars that much - will probably scrap them and
replace them with a straight brace to keep the rigidity up.
