ACC Grass Gymkhana

Want to take part in some low-risk motorsport?

Sunday 16th Feb, 10:30 AM

Te Rangi Hiroa reserve, Glenn Road, Massey.
(Off Don-Buck Rd, just past the Swanson Rd/Universal Drv/ Donbuck Rd
roundabout)

Was $10 last year, probably the same this year?

All cars, (MX-5's and others, club-members or not) welcome... invite your
friends.

Come along and have a (completely legal) hoon on the grass. Low risk, low
pressure motor-sport. We time ourselves around short courses marked out on
grass. you wont get out of second gear, and its one car at a time, so you
cant do any damage...

Its a hoot...

See you there,

Fletch.
Red '90. Many n/a mods and Link ECU

bugger! can't make it - gong to Broadwood for the A&P show.

If anyone wants to experience a good old-fashion country Agriculture &
Pastoral Show, you can't go past Broadwood. (And you can't go past
Helensville's on the 22nd, and Kumeu's on the 8th March...)
The 87th Annual North Hokianga A&P Show takes place this Saturday in
Broadwood : Linda and I are stewards for the showjumping and pony events.
If anyone feels like a nice little three and a half hour drive up to the
Hokianga we'll certainly make you welcome.

Two ways to get there : through Dargaville to Rawene, cross on the ferry,
through Kohukohe and the next town's Broadwood. Or, through Whangarei,
Kawakaka, left at Mangonui. Either way is about 310 kms from Avondale. Great
roads for MX5s!!!

If you get tired of the show (woodchopping, showjumping, prize cattle/goats,
sideshows) Kaitaia's only 45 minutes further north, Bay of Islands an hour's
drive East - with some camera-less roads at Waimate North to test your
speedo!

Anyway,

See you at the next Gymkhana!

Peter
