quote; I've fitted them to mine, the difference is very subtle unless the old
ones are totally stuffed. They do last well though. I got mine from, need I
say it, Marshall Tyres, Newmarket.

This mention of tyres reminded me that my rears got a warning at last warrant,
so called up Marshall tyres and ended up with 4 new Pirelli P6000's for $700
incl GST, at the correct 185/60 size to replace the old mismatched 195/60
Falkens and Bridgestones. Whether it's the tyres or the new alignment, it
feels like a new car! No more corrections needed going straight ahead, no
deviations with small stones and bumps. The suspension is still markedly
stiffer than standard but overall ride is a vast improvement. Mr Marshall
seemed to think the rounder shoulder profile was better suited to the MX than
my old tyres. With my (usually) restrained driving I'm hoping for a good
lifespan out of these tyres, will keep you posted...
