Great photos! Sadly I work every fourth weekend, and it always seems to fall
on club event days... The photographer was obviously intruiged with our
personalised plates, MXs seem to have a relatively high proportion of these;

IMBECL (odd choice?)
MX5TOY
JAQZ
(its all in)DGENES
GRNMX5
120KPH(and accelerating)
UNQMX5
GRTMX5
MTYMX5
LOVE U
SLYDIT (yeh!)

plus others often mentioned on the list;
CUTEMX
DRGN 1
WYSGUY
D4NGER

All jolly good fun, though some more obvious than others, and some downright
cryptic! Any additions?

(I really must have too much time on my hands)

Phil
AJT178 (figure that out)

PS who won the anagram contest?

Phil, you could always change your name by deed poll to fit your plate
=)

'D4NGER' is my middle name baby..

MADMXV - initially bought for my husband, but I must admit I get a bit crazy
when I jump behind the wheel myself!

IMBECL (imbecile) was chosen because it has many meanings to me:
-It became a kind of a student nickname for me as it was my favorite term of friendly abuse after I had consumed a pint or four.
-I personalized the first mx5 I had (which also had the same plates) in such a way that many thought I was a bit mad (I prefer the term eccentric).
-My very loud exhaust means I get branded a 'boy racer' and most (older) people don't think very highly of them.
-I occasionally drive like one.

But most of all its just funny. I constantly see people who start to read the plate with a serious look on their face, then smile when they work it out. The hardest thing is trying to keep a straight face when someone can't figure it out and asks you what it means.

I must agree, superb photos and I was even there, but never sore the camera.
He missed the photo of my plate, 2BHAPI, but I guess he couldn't see it as I
was practically parked on Ross's towbar.

TOPDWN Because... well you figure it out.
MORVEN because it belongs to Morven. (In photo 9073 & 9074)

I particularly like photo 9101. Oh wait, I took that one, when I was trying to steal Casper's camera from him. ;-)

Just shout out the answer with appropriate derogatory tone in your voice!
