Are there any general stats to determine what mag wheels will fit an MX5
NA or are the wheel hubs for an MX5 unique in some way/
What would those standards be as I would like to save some money by
buying used mags.

Mag wheel question
Mag wheel question
Mag wheel questionHi, Bill
According to my Norman Garrett performance handbook, key points are
a.. hubcentric collar diameter = 54mm (all years)
b.. weight - lighter is better - original alloy for 1990 was 12.3lb, 1994
5 spokes were 10.3lb, BBS 15" were 9.6lb (but rare). Be aware that
generally as rim size & tyre width increase, so does weight. Total stock
wheel & tyre for a 1994 was 27lb. And hailing from the US no doubt you know
how much a lb is ...
c.. offset is 45mm (deviating from this affects the scrub radius)
d.. up to R18 will fit with "minimal scraping"
e.. then there's a whole lot of stuff about ensuring that rolling
diameters are close to stock (22.7")
Hope that helps ... can provide more from the actual text if you wish, but
the above are the main points.
Regards,
Greg

Mag wheel question
Bill be sure to ask for the offset as well, anywhere between 38 and 45 is
fine, I found mine in the local Trade and exchange paper.
