hey everyone.
i'm looking to replace my yoko 539s (185-60-14) and am looking at some
race-only compounds...
looking at the toyo FM9R
http://www.toyo.co.nz/race.htm
and the dunlop D10J
http://www.dunlop.co.nz/tyres.asp?tyreC ... yrecloseup
anyone have experience with these?
i don't care about tire life - i want the best grip i can get.
oh - and not interested in Firestones in bigger sizes.
still haven't forgiven them for the cavallino...

best tyres grip wise?
Haven't forgiven them for the cavalino - mate, you've gotta be joking.
In fact I think I might have a half buggered set on some old zephyr rims
under the trees down the back paddock. I'd just about give them to ya -
half an hour with a round file on the wheel holes and they'd fit too! Mate,
they'd do just as well as the "soft" things you're looking for and jeez
they'd look bloody stylish too. Believe it mate, they'd really give you
some grip! Tim.
