Interesting.

So, what's the deal with getting into this? The website seems low on useful
details, whereas the entry form is long and complex and mentions lots of
stuff I know nothing about.

What else do I need apart from a car and the entry fee?

And anyone got any suggestions for advanced driving courses?

MessageDon't get too excited , after letting all cars on the track last month
they decided that any car without roll protection ( roll bar or solid roof )
they would not let on the track.Much to my disgust. A guy in a 91 mx5 came all
the way from Auckland to have a run but also got turned away ( he had also
been in contact with the organisers to check if convertibles could run ).On
the lighter side , it was still interesting to watch and is a good set-up to
enter if you can.Ignore all the stuff for racecars on the entry form as all
they need are your details of you and your car and just hand it in with you
money when you turn up at the track.Bring a helmet and overalls with you and a
fire extinguisher bolted in if you have one available , extinguisher is not
necessary as they have track marshals with them.Next club sport day is 29th
Aug 2004.
Driver training day has been organised by the club for the 12th of Feb 2005.

Hope this all helps.
