This thread & the resulting comments may have come about due to a
country/language differences, humour gone wrong, too much coffee, or plain
misunderstandings. Frankly I don't give a crap.

I don't want to have to organise moderators for this list and I don't want
to unsubscribe anyone, however I will should I again see discussions like
this on an otherwise useful MX5 discussion list. This email has been
sitting in my in box for 2 days, and I hoped I wouldn't have to send it, but
I have been emailed directly by a number of unhappy list members so I
shall respond. I don't have further time to waste on this sort of childish
shite in the future.

This list is not intended as a chat forum or chat list, it is an MX5
discussion list, and always has intended to be that way. Refer item 2 of

There are some statements about no moderation and 'open forum' on the club
site which I guess now I'll have to revise.

If someone does not like this, they are free to start their own list with
different guidelines to the above. I'm happy to help them set it up, and
will link to that list from the MX5 Club of NZ web site if requested. May I
also suggest that the miata.net list might also be the place to chat with
many people who are interested in Miatas & MX5s from around the world about
'stuff'. http://miata.net/archives.shtml

Please now note the following:

1. This thread and all similar threads will stop _now_

2. Do NOT respond to this email on list, and any further discussions on this
topic are to be off list also.

3. Slurs based on race, gender, occupation, intelligence, location in NZ or
the world and other personal attacks will not be tolerated on this list.
This has been mentioned before and is now a rule. This will be enforced.

4. Emails on this list addressed to the list are NOT personal. Any personal
replys you wish to make to a person are to be directed to THAT PERSON ONLY.
Not the list address.
