A good point, but my 89 even with the switch pushed in will still retract as
soon as the ignition is cut.

ok ok, so now ive had a think about it, i probably have got it wrong, i wish
i could go out and test it, but im in another country to my car! i will test
when i get back home though,sorry to add confusion...i had a funny feeling
they dropped, then when you pushed the button out and in again, then they
raised, but thinking about it i am probably wrong!
