Interested in your comments about travelling Auckland's traffic. The link
below is a research paper on some of the issues that are seen to be driving
the congestion on Auckland's roads.
I assume from your previous comments that you live on the Shore on the
Hibiscus coast. From memory this is about 40km from the central city. This
roughly compares to living in Waikanae and travelling into Wellington. If
one travels by car in peak hours allowing 1.5 hours is reasonable. Early
morning travel is probaly closer to 1 hr. There is a morning rail service
that takes 50-60 minutes, something that is not available in Auckland.

If commuters got bikes and rode them... motorcycles I mean, the prob would
be solved... keep the MX's for pleasure... oh and the bikes will become
pleasure as well!!
