Right-hand headlight doesn't pop up

Anyone know what the likely cause is for my right-hand headlight not popping
up? The left one goes up OK. I have to manually wind the right one up. They
both come down when the up/down button on the dash is pressed.


Is this a common fault?


Car is a 1990 mx5, ex japan.
