I have just tried to open my driver's door from the inside and something has
broken. It cannot be opened using the inside or outside door handles. If I
take the plastic moulding off from around the inside handle I can see that the
metal rod still moves with the handle so perhaps the problem is at the door
catch end.
Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, any solutions would be most
appreciated, particularly, how can I open the door to take the inner liner off
to fix whatever is broken?
Thanks

maybe a slimjim (not the biscuit!) or something similar? There's a
little lever near the B pillar that needs to be pushed... or pulled...

Door opening mechanism
Yup, I know that one
There is a small spring that will be now be sitting inside the door. It has
either broken or fallen off.
If you can work out where it goes, you'll be fine.
