P.P S. Sorry Mike I mentioned the wrong pulley-:

You may have to unbolt and remove the AIRCON pulley to avoid
interference from the new sized belt, as it look as if the new belt could
track across the path of the AIRCON pulley. Pay to check that one out.

Cheers
Mark

Welcome Colin,
I live in Tauranga (lots of topdown here!!!)... I own a 1990 MX5 and
mostly get to drive it when my wife is not using it (which is often). We
recently did a great trip to South Island and also had our rear window
'shatter' on a cold morning - but great news the insurance paid out for
a complete new Robbins roof since the repair was going to cost more than
a new one. Yes leave the roof 'up' for two weeks to 'stretch'...but can
take it down for short burst but make sure put up overnight so adjusts
to the cold/hot temps and settles down. We were a bit apprehensive of
the 'long haul' to and from Wgn from Tauranga but the MX handled it
superbly and easily.
