Cat back exhaust

I am giving my 96 1800 a mild performance make-over. I am installing
one of the last 2 Loch Stewart cold air intakes he made before his
recent death and intend to advance the timing to about 16 degrees. I
would also like to fit a cat-back performance exhaust without
breaking the bank. Is there an easy way to achieve the same results
as a Jackson racing / Borla type set up here in Auckland. Thanks in
