I had my dash apart today puting in some silver rings that I bought of Ross,
around the three minor gauges. I noticed that the bulbs inside were green.
Does anyone know if you can get red bulbs or has anyone out there tried
changing the bulb colour. I have always though red was a better colour for
the insrtuments.
Sorry to hear about your wee mishap Eric.
Cheers Doug
By the way the silver rings around the three small gauges look really good.
Don't know why they were not fited as standard in the first place.

Dash Light colour?
Doug, The bulbs show green as they have coloured "condoms" on them. It is
possible to get different coloured covers, but the dials are also coloured,
so the nett result can be not what you desire.
I have removed the green covers and the illumination is more cream now, and
much brighter.
(I have also fitted a dimmer). I have also painted the black rings around
the dials gold, just to be different!!. Did it with a paint pen. Scary, as
you only get one chance!!.

Thanks Kevin. I thought the bulbs had a plastic cover or cmdom as you say.
Cheers Doug
