Tally now 6 on Letter to The Minister

Post by MadMaz » Mon Feb 06, 2006 2:16 pm

Great stuff Biff.

With posted and privately sent e-mails, that brings the tally to six people,
after just a single day, willing to place their name on the letter to the
Minister of Transport Safety.

For those that might have missed it - and now with the correct address - I'll
post it again just this one more time (the 12th is when I'll finally send
it):

Hon David Parker
Minister of Transport Saftey
12th February 2006

Dear Minister

It's becoming more widely known, by the day, that the government fuel and road
tax take is not being spent in proper proportion on roading improvements, nor
is it being spent in proper proportion on road safety programmes such as early
driver education.

We would like to know why this is the case and if you are planning to rectify
this situation.

As fuel prices increase, we know your tax take increases, because we are well
aware that the tax take is a fixed proportion of the overall fuel price at the
pump. We would like to know what you are doing with the extra money.

We await your swift reply with expectation.

Regards...

Cheers
