Hi list,

Tonight I have finally bought my 2nd mx5. Its been 3+ years since I sold my
first, unfortunately a company car at the time and no space for a 2nd car
made me do it. Every time I have seen mx5's flicking by me since, I dreamed
of the times I had... top down on the open road... night and day... what a
feeling!!! You can't match it!!!

So you will all understand the joy I now feel, and the anticipation i'm
dealing with in my wait to pick it up this weekend!

However as they say - good things come to those that wait. I can put away
the Falcon in the garage for the times I need the space to move people and
things, and start driving top-less again!!!

Awesome!

Welcome back to the fraternity! Well done that man!

If we had a "Fatted Calf" it would be feeling distinctly nervous about now!

Welcome back Mike, I gained a company car some 4 months ago - the MX5 is
still in the garage and the company car stays out front in the rain etc, no
way was the MX5 going to go even though it does not make economic sense (or
is that cents) to keep it - to hell with any form of sense when at the turn
of the key, I can be back out with the top down after driving in Auck
traffic all week in the Astra!!

What have you bought ??

Brought another '90 NA (??? am I right? - been a few years since I was a
member of the list!)) original looking beauty.

Hey if I could have kept it I would have... but living with 4 others
seriously limited room. Now my partner and I have our own place with
garaging it's easy as...

Now i need to buy another haynes manual, pick up the oil and filter to
install on monday... that's what all this is about isn't it?

Congratulations! I concur, there's nothing like a convertible that just
so happens to be a sports car to give one's self a "liberated" feeling.
