Have you had the radio surround out and disconnected the hazard switch? Common mistake !

Search through the Archives, I recall this being a topic some years ago. I had a bit of a look but couldn't find anything, try different phrases and also Google, I'm sure this is common(ish)

it was the hazzard switch, all fixed now

Ahh that's good news then. Not so far removed from my recent windows incident. I had the console out to install some alarm and stereo stuff, and once everything was back in the windows wouldn't work :( pulled out the switches did lots of testing, and after an hour of stressing, it turns out I'd knocked the window lock button on the dash (actually I'd never noticed I even had one before that.
