Bose amp

Post by Kerry Brosnan » Sat Apr 19, 2014 5:05 pm

I want to find the Bose amp in my 98 roadster. Have fitted a new head unit as the old one was shot, have the back speakers working okay, but can not get the front speakers working. I will probably bypass the amp.
thanks anyone that can help

In the manual for the 1998 models it states

AUDIO AMPLIFIER REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the dashboard. (refer to 09-17
DASHBOARD REMOVAL/ INSTALLATION.)
3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

So to get at it you have to remove the dash
I didn't make a mistake. I gave you a observation test and you JUST passed.

Thanks for that Toolbox. Sounds like it will be easier to bypass altogether and find the wire leading to the doors and hook in.
