Amp Locations

Post by GRUVBB » Fri Apr 18, 2014 9:44 am

Had a quick look at where I will put the amps in my car. Im wondering where most people position theirs? I tried the first smaller one behind the passenger seat but then the seat does not go fully back. Im also concerned that the seat will shield it in and increase heat build up. The smaller amp fits in better towards the bottom of the seat but once the second amp goes in it needs to be further up and this stops the seat big time and is also visible.... Im quite tall so need the seat as far back as possible. I also need passenger seat to be back at same level so as not to obstruct my side vision. I don't like the look if one sits forward from other.
Im guessing that only options are to put them in the boot or under the seats.....
Any pics of instals be greatly appreciated or constructive comments????

Mount them as low as possible and they will fit fine. I put the sub in the boot and works fine. No spare wheel now but.

Back in TROLOL my radio was just an amp.

Mounted a small 50watt amp behind the center console, ran an auxilary cable out the side of the dash, and bam, good quality, low cost iPod integration.

Also made myself a sexy ass delete plate.
