I have an alarm on my 1990 MX5 which I would like to disconnect. Where is it likely to be located?

Usual place is below the stearing column, it's the easiest place to access all the wires needed.
I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

if you plan on replacing it with a modern alarm, I would suggest getting one that supports central locking and then also get a central locking kit from jaycar ....... when its pissing down with rain, being able to unlock the car with a remote is brilliant!
