Ultra Racing bar swap

I got myself a UR-RL2-301 bar and noticed i have to remove my factory little lower bar to fit it, has anyone done this and is it worth it? if not ill just sell it and put the money into other parts i need

I nearly did but my exhaust was in the way plus i feel the bracing effect was sus as it it too high up the sub-frame & needs to be down by the lower bushes for maximum stiffness.

yeah thats what i was thinking, it wont foul my exhaust but its not where i would chose to mount it personally.

keep your factory bar!!
look how high it mounts
this will be a serious downgrade!

unless you can mount it upside down and keep the factory bar aswell

I agree. I have the two other braces in the picture on my car. The four point front brace and the four point middle brace. These are very good and work well but I left the factory rear brace on as I think it is a better design.

Anyone used the sway bars from these guys?

Id have to notch it for the swaybar and change the bolt mounts to do it upside down, i thought it would fit over the factory one. guess im sending it back
