What he said.

Kings do springs that will lower the car about an inch without sacrificing the ride quality.

Yea that's a good point. I do believe that you need a cert in order to run them.

have gone with king springs and most likely KYB AGX adjustables but what do I need for bump stops and rubber dust shields? What would be best to use?

The standard boots incorporate the bump stop however if you want to go to aftermarket bumpstops you will need to check what the fully compressed travel of the shock and spring is as you don't want to end up with coil bind or with your nice new shocks bottoming. Stocks can also supply bump stops.

You may also find that you need some spacers on the top of the shock body to ensure that your bump stops are working at the right point. These normally come in 3mm thicknesses.

For the boots I found some Subaru steering rack boots that do the job, but I am using Konis. They may also fit the shaft size of the KYB as I had to cut out the narrow end to fit the top of the shock.
