Replacement Enkei wheel wanted

Post by Ian » Thu May 31, 2007 5:23 pm

Hi all...

I am looking for a replacement (1 possibly 2) Enkei ultra lightweight wheel in 15 x 7. These have 35mm offset and are stamped A356 on the rear hub face.
Any leads much appreciated.

Cheers, Ian

have you bent some or are you just after a couple more...there are a couple of Mag wheel repairers in Tauranga that get stuff in from all over the country.

Hi Ian,

Did you go to Royce Clive engineering and ask them about repair?
Another alternative to the Enkei lightweight would be Volk-racing (made in Japan)

I've just picked up a set of 15 x 6.5 Volk CE28N's they weigh 3.6kg and are a forged wheel, shockingly expensive though.

Thanks guys...Have been offered a set of 3, together with one totally shattered example! (which could be repaired here in ChCh, but for way more than a new replacement out of the US)
For a 15 x 7 @4.4kilos, these are very desirable and will allow me to run a 205/50 x 15 race tyre in place of my existing 185/60 x 14 race tyres with little or no increases in unsprung weight.
Just a long shot that someone may know of one or two of these wheels lying around...
Cheers, Ian

PS The Enkei wheel model is known as a RPF1.

Ah the infamous RPF1 so that's what it was! A very nice wheel indeed.
I picked up the volks today (BIG GRIN) and I'm getting the T1R's on Friday.

I assume you've phoned the places that sell mag wheels Ian, as they sometimes have half sets. Also, maybe some of the breakers?

the RPF1 is very popular with the U.S forumites so ask there where the cheapest place to get them are...also you could try goodwin racing as they may have some.

You are right...have been talking to Brian of Goodwin Racing. Avail in both 35 and 41mm offset from him.

Many thanks, Ian
