anyone have a spare set of wheels/tyres?

Post by peter » Mon Nov 13, 2006 6:32 pm

I needed two new tyres to pass a warrant, shopped around and checked the forums and now have my heart set of Toyo T1-Rs... only problem is no-one has them in 215/40 16s like I need, I have to place an indent order (ie cash up front thank you) and wait 8 weeks.
So, rather than buy a couple of cheap tyres to pass the warrant (due in two weeks) does anyone have a set of 4 standard rims and tyres I can borrow? you'll get them back when the Toyos arrive....

Or, if anyone has a set for sale let me know, I could probably do with a spare set for those tarmac gymhkanas...!

I have my car on ramps at the moment – you are more than welcome to borrow mine for the warrant.

I probably have 2 x 16" (tyres only) that will pass a warrant until you
can get your Toyos. They won't be exactly the profile you are after
though...

I'd also need to check actual tread depth, but should be OK.

Give me a call if you like tomorrow.

cheers

why 215/40's??

205/45's can be had for well under $200 each and have LOTS of grip especially the T1-R's
RED '90 TURBO.
