What are the pitfalls if I want to replace my Bilstein shocks with standard ones on my 92NA?

Are the Bilstein uprated with lower springs?
I'd swap my standard shocks/springs
Greddy turbo, Koni adjustables, Aerotech, LSD, 15" Volks with Toyo T1R's, Lightened body, Bonnet Vents........

Bilstein Shocks

I know this may be a bit late, however changing your existing bilstiens (if they are standard) is not a bad idea. They were not design very well in the first place riding too high in the rear.
In saying this though, I changed my existing set up with Bilstien rated shocks to ride on a set of 30mm king springs. The thing still rides a little hard over some bumps.
As there is no full chasis the car doesn't ride as stable.
I am still trying to find a set up that will allow the car to ride smoother and lower.

I have now changed my shocks to a standard set and the difference is amazing. The ride is not nearly as harsh but of course what comes with that is some loss of cornering ability, the car does not sit as flat as it did. On the plus side it does not skip around on bumpy corners. If I was racing it perhaps I would then go to a set of bilsteins valved to match a set of uprated springs. But at the end of the day it still has the ability to tour at very high average speeds considering its average power output.

Perhaps the harder bilsteins on the front only would be a possible comprimise. But at the moment it suits me.

cheers
