Cleaning Rims

Post by GRUVBB » Sun Oct 06, 2013 7:59 am

One of my sets of Daiseys has brake pad dust contamination. I have used CRC mag wheel cleaner and a tooth brush which helped. It moved the majority of discolouring.there is still some markings. Mostly in the grooves where a brush can not make good contact. A friend told me to use Handy Andy as it works a treat. I have googled this and am in two minds.... I believe it is acidic and may damage the outer finish of rim. Does anyone have experience with this technique or advice on a better cleaner please???
