Replacement brake caliper

Post by marcellarius » Sat Sep 07, 2013 4:31 pm

So, I was torquing up the guide pin on my front left caliper and all of a sudden it got far too easy to turn. It didn't feel crossthreaded when I started it by hand and ran it down with a ratchet but the thread on the caliper has been taken right off.

The caliper needed a rebuild anyway, the other side isn't great either. Is there anywhere locally that sells rebuilt front calipers for an NA8C?

Otherwise, I was thinking of trying to find a decent second hand one and rebuilding both.

Try contacting Ross at mx5mart, he should be able to supply the bits you need :)

Keep in mind the calipers are the exact same as the NA6C... The pad bracket and rotor are what make them different
