@Ashleigh, why only an SR20de? Not criticising, just wondering why you'd stop there! A DE would be all the power i would want for the time being. Clarification of meet time...... 7.30 at Burgerfuel Ellerslie and others are meeting on the shore prior to this. Is this the status? I did a clutch for a customer that had exactly the noise you describe and it was the spigot bearing had failed. Shame to have to do the job again for the sake of a $6 bearing Hey!
