Picked up some 155/55-14's to fit to my Hayashis, hand mounted one this morning then set to restoring the other Hayashi this afternoon.

Other wheel took around 4hrs of of sanding then another few hours to mask it up before i painted it tonight.

Yesterday i did a well overdue oil change which turned into swapping out my alternator, left headlight and bleeding the power steering system. New headlight was working when i left for a trip around the block but low beam was blown by the time i got back home :?

Call me old but i agree with you guys, this build will unfortunately attract even more flatpeakers to mx5's. Bright side though there'll be more wrecked ones at pickapart for parts  but also i can see them getting nicked more. :( Props to him for putting a convertible into professional drifting...

Pretty sure those can only be used on bilstein shocks. If fitting them to standard shocks you have to cut off the spring perch and weld on the collar in its place (i.e irreversible)

Yeah got mine through moonlight, my 14's cost $130 to buy and about $270 for shipping/commission. My 15's that I just bought were $330 and cost $350 for shipping/commission.

Those wheels look kinda interesting, no idea what they'd weigh though. To give you an idea how they'd fit, this was my car with the setup i mentioned above, so the lenso's would sit 5mm further out. https://scontent-b-pao.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc3/t1.0-9/p480x480/526836_503170986409508_1654511350_n....

Yeah 15x8's are being made by every man and their dog as every stance kid wants them.
+20 offset might be a bit too much if you are going to be running sensible tyres e.g 205 to 225's. (i was running 15x8 +25 with 205/50's and needed the guard lips rolled)

I bought mine as soon as they were first available and it goes a little rippled in cold weather, I let them know about it and he said that they would make some revisions.

Nice! Good to see another car with a genuine carbon one not a wrapped fibreglass one.
Have they fixed the issue where the middle of the spoiler goes a little out of shape in the middle in cold weather?

Yeah 15's do offer a bit better tyre choices than 14's. Almost any offset +10 to +45 will fit comfortably with suitable tyres on a 15x7, since you say you wont be lowering it you shouldnt have any clearance issues. Have to agree with you on the dislike of having spokes outside of the lip, they are j...

Haha your parents sound like mine. Stick at home and do mods which will keep you on the road(your parents should be alright with that). E.g wheels&tyres, suspension and brakes then learn the limits of the car with stock power. You will be surprised at what you can do with 80 odd horsepower. I have s...

Today i got a 2.25" exhaust system put in it to prepare for the turbo. Its a bit vtec'y between 3-5k rpm but that should lessen as it beds in.

Ah jazz I see you are back after you said you were leaving for good.

As said in previous threads, post some pics or even motion pictures with sound of this amazing setup and they will give people a lot more info than what you can type.

How did the dyno run go that you said it was booked in for?

Yes when i checked the pricing at work on the eccentric bolts they only showed the uprated version like these with the groove inside the thread. http://www.flyinmiata.com/Store/images/36-06000.jpg . Also as slydit said dont use a press to get the old bushes out as the arms are rather weak. Best/fun ...
