I agree with Angreal, Talk to Ben. If he has time, he mayu be keen to do something with his rotor solution...you needs brakes he has them and needs funds for his car..... a perfect match!

Google also averages in the club roadster factor so on a dynapro it really is only 7hp....5.7hp on any other dyno..... This is proven on many other sites except Miata Turbo where they say it actually loses 3.6 Hp and turns you in to a some sort of weird deviate with a penchant for parts of the male ...

When we moved to the 6 speed in wee1 we had all sorts of problems with shifting...I did heaps of research and asked Repco and all the other suppliers for the 2 "special" oils recommended on Miata Turbo... I cant remember the brand...maybe amsoil was the flavour of the month at that time. A guy in Ch...

Anyhow, I reckon a high HP turbo MX5 is a heck of a lot easier to crash than a V8 powered one You are right about the torque curve. That's why I'm... Sort of put off turbos. Has anyone who has ever driven a decent turbo MX5 ever said this...? Sorry but I call BS on this "turbo are hard to drive the...

Hopefully come your way soon to dial in whatever new setup we end up with. Oh, did the knock sensor ...

Sorry, fixed the video settings.

Class is called All Classic Japanese or ACJS. basically for cars at least 20-25 years old with strict controls on modifications...based around variations of OEM fitment.

Wee1 Racing at Taupo Jan 11 2014

Had a pretty succesfull weekends racing last weekend. Drove to Taupo via the Megasquirt dyno for some tuning, Jared did a great job and really recommend using his services! 245HP at the wheels with a turbo that came in to boost at 5k!!! (we think maybe 255 - 265 or more will be achievable with a mor...

that is actually incorrect the fatory valve is set at 50 percent of the front pressure a willwood valve can be ajusted between 43 and 100 percent of the front pressure so you can infact increase the rear brakeing over factory. Paul, does this mean replacing the standard bias unit with a willwood on...

I have read the valve only reduces the bias to the rear so it makes the problem worse....

I am having the same issue with my manifold. When Keith had the motor he had zero issues. It cracks on me during/after every race meeting.

We have put in a flexi joint, re made the gearbox brace, repaired it, braced it you name it.

I am about to send it to Sinco for a replacement copy. Over it!!!

HSD'S are the best handling shock I have ever driven in an MX5. They are spectacular on the road with a firm but not too firm ride and no crashing through/over holes, judders etc. I couldn't believe how awesome they were when I did the track days I did, a few clicks to stiffen them up and done. A fr...
