before you get carried away...

what brand of tires do you have on it??

shitty tires (or unevenly/flatspotted tires) will cause the shimmy.

my first option would be to put a full set of new tires on it

What do you mean a "Rich Mans Track" You honestly think that $1200 for a pitgarage $400 for use of a power point (I'm not Kidding!) $1500 hold on your creditcard if you get $80 worth of fuel and having to pay per metre of grass you rip up, and total cost of any signwriting on the wall if you bounce...

have a look at MCA suspension in australia. they do an NB coilover set with high spring rates that might just be what you are after. oh sway bar blocks are good.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQG5aUrhpew&feature=share&list=UUkizUluqyqrJ5qisWRnG3Bg and then with reinforcing blocks... https://www.y...

so you have front and rear upgraded sways? generally as people go stiffer springs they keep the rear sway standard or delete it all together as the rear becomes too lively. your spring rates arent that stiff. 8kg or even 10kg frnts are pretty common. most common seems to be a 8kg/5kg with an upgrade...

15x7 is a good size with a 205/50/15. just make sure it's LIGHT. dont be tempted to get 15x8 as there is only one tyre that can be legally fitted to it. if you want grip then a good lightweight 15x7 or 15x7.5" with a 205/50 is a good combo as is a 16x7 with a 205/45 on it. you'll be lucky to find an...

if your running base tune itll be rich and retarded . thats gonna put a lot of heat energy into the engine and manifold instead of power. itll get better with a tune. dont wrap the turbo or manifold. it just promotes cracking. i wrapped my downpipe with exhaust wrap to protect the trans tunnel and g...

auto mx5 are pretty awful. the 1970's technology auto isnt exactly a feature of the car. besides an mx is a great car to learn to drive manual if you cant already.

A top with any cracks or patches only has 12 months max left in it. a new one is around 1000 fitted. test drive lots so you can tell a rattlypos from a decent one.
