I tried tweezers but they were too wide to fit through the swivel weather plate. I tried a thin pair from a Swiss Army knife but could not apply enough pressure/tension to extract thd remnant of key. I tried to use 2 thin screwdrivers like a pair of chopsticks to no avail. I turned the plate and was...

My other MX5 Bluey came with a cup holder. It was homemade and was simply a piece of customwood cut to thsle size of the ashtray opening, painted black and a holesaw hole drilled into it to accomodate a can. I found it an annoying position for a drink and use the wedge in technique between passenger...

Re: Fish & Chip Discussion

Well after ordering some fish and chips at the place that was recommended on this island, I was somewhat underwhelmed. I suddenly have a craving for fish and chips at Swashies (obviously along with copious amounts of beer). Anyone down to joining me in a few weeks? Also, anyone know of any good pla...

I have to admit I only know what a Mod is thanks to The Mighty Boosh.
Check out the movie Quadrophenia..... the sound track is done by The Who. It was a cult classic movie in its day and a bloody good watch. Plenty of Mods and Rockers action in there.

Its time for another cruise. As this is the third one I have instigated I have set the date for Sunday 10th August. This one will not be as long as the last one but plenty of winding roads well suited to the respective owners of the MX5 fraternity. The plan is to cruise HIGHWAY 22. Meeting place wil...
