You can get felxy extention hoses for grease guns. You may be able to find one with smaller end..... good on ya for 'fessing up on the grease.... I remember trying to fit my first tube as mine had no instructions at all.

The easy way to work out the drill size is to deduct the thread pitch from the thread size. Most 6mm grease nipples are 1.0mm pitch, so, yes, drill size would be 5.0mm. another wsy is to place thread into a drill index and drop back 3 drill sizes from there. usually you start with a primary tap whi...

Post up what size tap you need as I have a selection and could post you some to borrow or send you somewhere to purchase at a discounted price. You don't need to buy a full set when only needing one size.... Keep the funds for liquid refreshments post task completion.

For those little spots you missed you can be either use a black felt tip or a thin artist paint brush to apply a small amount.

So I purchased this a bottle of Meguiars PlatX today from REPCO. $20 with the wkend discount. Done 1 quick application to both inside and out. Made a huge improvement, does not require a lot of product. Money well spent. Thanks for the replies and comments. :lol:
