MX5 Enthusiast Manual in Auckland

Just wondering if anyone has one I can borrow? Need to do my water pump and would be much easier to go through it with this at hand..

Heres a couple from a recent trackday, went in the yellow Integra around the track. Good fun, just a bit scary with the BMW race guys, they get pretty close and pass us like we're racing. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3818/12708218245_f9465b502e_c.jpg Leon Cupra by Skilfil , on Flickr http://farm3.s...

Corded, what camera/lens were you using? Nice pictures by the way, R33 coupe is my favourite Skyline. They don't get enough love for some reason.

My honest opinion is, super expensive car alarms aren't worth it. All you need is a basic screamer/siren, immobilizer and sure the convenience of remote central locking is great. Obviously thats what defines an alarm, but an immo installed in all black wiring, a siren that will scream if the cars op...

Got to see that yellow Ferrari running on the Saturday just gone, impressive watching it battle the blue Corvette, looked like a fun fight.

Certainly moved, didn't have the straight line pace of the 'Vette but it had the cornering and braking to make up for it. Though that 'Vette was a monster.

When I did my car Visco in Henderson [not recommended by the way] said due to the surface rust below the brake reservoir that was caused by brake fluid I needed to have a structural inspection. I have the same thing except its just surface rust, if even that, its just metal thats gone a rusty colou...

I love how they've spelt gauge wrong. This one looks the ticket: http://www.gomiata.com/ddmirasu.html Ah yeah theres that too, I'd go for that one if your centre console is in decent shape. I like the more tucked away look for my gauges so I'm trying to avoid pillar gauges as much as I like the way...

Why don't you guys go for this?

Be a much cleaner look, its what I'm wanting as it keeps the gauges reasonably out of view for the public walking past.

I have a SW20 MR2 for the 2K cup, well two actually, already have blown the motor in one of them, big end bearing, pretty common fault in these, don't think it will be long before car No.2 goes the way of the dodo. Haha I mentioned this to a friend, all these MR2's and I bet a few will get BEB issu...

Screw it, I'm in, paid today, I've been on two cannonball runs and the first snowball run they had. Been some of the best times I've had in a car, especially the snowball run on a run down to Taupo over two days. First two times in my brothers VR6 with a meaty straight sidepipe and a V6 growling the...

Do you know what they charge for the Halfcage?
Most weld-in half cages seem to go from $700 (if you're lucky) to on average $900ish.

The important part is the 98.5cm sitting height though as I imagine people vary in their proportion of legs/torso+neck+head.
Pretty sure Kieran (Furai) is about this height, he drifts an NA with a cage.

something definitely changed in the T1-R as they feel different to what the earlier runs felt like. Thats disappointing, I had T1-R's on my GTI about 3 years ago and loved them. Glad I didn't go with them a few weeks ago. WideOpenThrottle, I've got some 205/50/15 RE002's on my MX5 at the moment, th...
