^^ Thats not a bad idea. I usually hate bodykits but I'm pretty keen to see how Kierans will turn out, won't do it for mine but cool to see something different.

^^ Nice, I was at the same trackday, got some of my best shots there too. Wish I'd turned up earlier though to catch a few more cars. https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3850/14617254084_ae2bef4311_b.jpg NZ Trackday Pukekohe 06.07.14 by Skilfil , on Flickr https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5506/14436126367_...

I'm keen to tag along again, will have better brakes this time.. Long or short doesn't bother me, I suppose preference to the long one as I've driven it many times and its always a nice drive.

Front is Goodyear Assurances, rears Pirelli P6000's. Fronts worn down a fair bit and the rears weren't the best anyway due to hardened compound.

Shit I would have thought most of the hondas would have been running 15's?? Except the DC2 and DC5's of course.

Chris's MX5 doesn't have a front lip, but if you want a GVBRO style one you can use mine for a mould?

Pretty jealous of your living situation. I'd love to be in walking distance of a racetrack.

This. Anything over 15" on an NA is a bit silly.
16's can fit nicely, but anything bigger is nuts. Unless you're Donovan with a stonking V8 in your little NA.

Ooh. The dark blue one is cool. Thanks its mine haha, was a great run, I loved the gravel section in particular, nearly managed to link up a few corners sideways  Bit of a bugger my brakes were overheating and my clutch couldn't put up with the turbo. Will have some pics coming soon courtesy o...

Fair point Donovan, I guess to me fast is straight line stupid fasts. Pure hp, in saying that, I do remember Terry's MX5 being fairly well sorted and nearly lifting the front tyres at Meremere. Mind you, it'll all be a moot point soon, Mad Mikes rotor NC MX5 will blow anything else out for a good wh...

Ah there we go, nope was more concerned with the return trip. Its insane (Although not surprising at all) how much gas I eat through with the turbo compared to the n/a.

I'm fairly confident the fastest MX5 at current in NZ, will be the twin turbo Lexus V8 one running down south.

Just a point, any 98 stations on the way? I don't plan on burning through my whole tank but its very possible.
