Car sounds like a tractor

rang BP Waterview, no problems reported (as in no other customers have
mentioned it, no tanks have been drained...)

will replace the filter at the next opportunity - don't think it's been done
since I bought the car in 97.

Car sounds like a tractor

Great weather in Auckland for top-down driving! Except the car sounds like a tractor when I accelerate, a day after I filled up at BP Waterview... I've checked the sparkplug leads etc, any suggestions? It's intermittent at times, but mostly occurs under load - speeding up etc... Cheers! Peter DRGN1

I picked up a 92 Falcon on TradeMe for $1200 as a spare car - reminds me of my old Fairmont wot I traded for the MX5. I don't mind paying 2x insurance/rego/wof if I can go top down on the weekends!

if storage is your only problem you could look at the other options :
remove the spare wheel
get a luggage rack
get a tow bar

you haven't even had it a year!
