Sadly now used to live near you, but I remember your old car, and the one time I think I saw this I wondered but didn't know it was your replacement!

With IHE and a tune, my civic made 160wkw on a non turbo 1.6.. Dont rule out a B16/B18 Civic/Integra. I would go to the EG/DC chassis if you're looking at it. EF/DA are getting on now Agreed. Might be more difficult to find an EG/DC with B16 or B18 hence why I suggested the likes of a DA6, but they...

Look for the likes of Honda Civics and Integras too if you're not opposed to them.

You can pick up a DA6 Integra for $2000 or less and you've got a whole load of B16 powered fun, or you could get a DOHC ZC-powered EG Civic for similar.

Was out at Pukekohe on Sunday giving my Fuji a motorsports shakedown. Took some getting used to mirrorless versus DSLR, but I got down to 1/40s panning successfully so I was happy. https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3923/14571614966_f5afe634cd_b.jpg DSCF1741 by mrshine86 , on Flickr Really liking the dr...

You' e both been cocks. We're not talking about an S14 Silvia in this case and you didn't call it a half cage or a rollbar here. And even if you said "cage" when talking about an S14 I expect most people would assume full cage as SLYDIT did in this case. He was a cock in the way he called you on it,...

Carbon fibre cage :P
chris wrote:The Bonnet will be a bit more difficult but still do-able!
Probably not much point to the bonnet if you're wet laying the carbon fibre. I seem to recall most carbon fibre bonnets you can buy are often slightly heavier than the aluminium bonnet already?

Well I've moved to Fuji mirrorless now, and enjoying it much more than lugging around my huge bloody great Nikon gear from before. I've sold all but my manual focus, film Nikon gear, which I'm also going to be using with adapter (which I think has just arrived today) on my Fuji X-T1. This one is a c...

Was that the guy who left after the supra wing thread? Also stance kiddies are silly. You can't play with matchbox cars when their wheels are like that, either. That was siren676 who left. We're laughing at the guy who had a cry about Daniel being negative, then accused Daniel of crying and leaving...

Yes - the little battle/bitch that started when Siren made a comment regarding his personal opinion on another car. A shit storm started up. That was fun. I'm glad he seemed to take my point that replying while claiming he didn't care was backwards and that he was making an idiot of himself complai...

Minimum posting requirement for listings for sale makes sense from a security point of view, assuming it actually does dissuade the light-fingered variety of low life from even trying to list here. Hey, someone dinged my karma too. What a toilet. Have one back. Scenic Drive is poo. Too many high spe...

I would not use 2000 grit pre-paint. 2000 grit is a finishing grit before using compounds, not for paint/primer preparation.

400 or 600 grit before primer, as someone said earlier.

Cbf breaking it up to quote the way you did, so I will reply to each section as noted. Okay. We weren't talking about race cars in the first instance now were we? We were talking about certification/compliance. We still aren't talking about race cars. We certainly weren't talking about my car to start with either, but then you were. Certainly if I owned an MX-5 now I would consider proper ...

... You are seriously pushing shit up hill. (great forum to make that comment on too) Now tell me, your Honda S2000, has a factory "roll bar" correct? Now, have you put padding on it? If not, then why the fuck not? Clearly you are very concerned about safety.. http://www.bethania-garage.com/images/...

I didn't say you we're wrong, but clearly you can see how this comes off. I have edited my post to be more direct, not that I thought it was particularly uncivil in the first instance. Perhaps tongue-in-cheek, admittedly, and I suppose given Harlan's sometimes "fiery" phrasing of posts that could r...

Way to stir shit in an argument long after the fact, unnecessary. Well, no. I was pointing out that Rays wheel nuts could be bought for the price shown (something Harlan specifically said was not possible) and that accordingly they may very well be genuine; not all Rays wheel nuts are their duralum...

Ben I am not 'belittling anyone' simply saying my opinion, knowingly buying plagiarised items: i.e. fake items, supports undesirable activities & stunts the sales/research/development that we all surely want carried out by genuine manufacture. We (I assume) want products to be improved, we (I assum...
