Nice, wondered how 205/50's would look on an 8 inch rim. I'm hoping to fit 215's or 225's on an 8. But I think thats a pipe dream because I refuse to run fender flares. You don't need flares, depends on what offset you are running on the wheels, I am running 225's on 8's and about to fit on some 24...

Also got another pair of 16x9' from Jap land just arrive as well, to add, that I was going to put some Nitto 275 drag t...

Manual says the tank is 67litres, put 67.59ltrs in, so obviously the German...

New tyres/wheels for the track days, think they might be a bit dodge in the wet tho, and yes they are dot road legal, but god knows who would be stupid enough to do that.

Flush bonnet lattches

Not really a performance mode, but has come about because of one. Anyway, got a set of flush mount lockable bonnet latches put on my bonnet, but to be honest, they are pretty crap. After about a month, all the screw are rusting, and they latches open themselves up when driving along, even when I hav...

Hi Mango, I live not far from you in Dairy Flat, and if you ever want to see a set of mods that have gone slightly out of control, you are welcome to pop around and take a look, but you won't see a decent paint job, still haven't got around to that one. On another note, I have a softop frame (well w...

Had a 04 316ti, which is the 1.8 motor, not the 2.0 in the 318ti, and it was one of the most reliable cars that I have had, cost me sod all in the 3+ years I had it. There are good BMW's to own and expensive ones (X6, X5, E46 M3, comes to mind). But yes, they do use all, mind you, most petrol Euro's...

It's non profit, because all the controlling parties involved in it bleed it dry by the board of directors, lawyers, and record companies, and strangley enough the RIAA has it's grubby little fingers in there as well, which is the organistation that is usually gun happy with the lawsuits. Just wonde...

Let's not forget the fact the Windows Media Player, and iTunes are just as capable of ripping CD's and easily enough to transfer to other devices, unlike the car's media stations, which are pretty near impossible to get the music off them to transfer to something else.

Really??? Think they have taken this a bit far, and when it comes down to it, only doing it because of some marketing wording. http://www.computerworld.co.nz/article/551202/ford_gm_sued_millions_over_cd-ripping_tech_cars/?utm_campaign=topnews-2014-07-30&utm_medium=newsletter&eid=484&utm_source=topnews

Talk to Dr Don at Autoway's in Hamilton, he has done the conversion, think he still has the car, I know he was looking it at selling it at one stage, but don't think he really wanted to part with it.

You won't find a cheap one in that size, if you really really have to run a 17", then I would suggest changing your stud pattern to 5x114 and your choices will be endles, but in 4x100, they are rare as hen's teeth finding second hand ones and new one's will be 2 or 3 piece jobbies, and will cost you...

Done a couple of little things to the car, and by that I mean 2low2c did. Moved the power steering reservoir from it's silly location of half sitting ontop of the suspension tower, and put in a cooling loop in front of the radiator to try and get it to stop boiling over and spilling it's contents al...
